MOSAIK is a photographic project created as part of Reframe Germany, a campaign that reclaims the narrative of an open and democratic society.

The project explores diversity as a fundamental strength of democracy. Like a mosaic, a society is made up of many different individual pieces — identities, perspectives, backgrounds and experiences. Together, they form a larger picture without losing their individuality.

Through portraiture, MOSAIK makes this diversity visible and creates an image of Germany shaped by unity, tolerance, freedom and coexistence.

The project is part of Reframe Germany, initiated by Freelens as part of Images for Democracy.
